boarding
at Blankenship farms
let your horse run wild with 50+acre pastures.
One of the largest pastures available to the public
At Blankenship Farm, we offer turnout style boarding on 160 acres of pristine Alaska grazing land where your horse can roam freely in herds. Our top priority is your horse's well-being, ensured through daily interaction and regular inspections. We strive to mimic a horse's natural habitat with practices like paddock rotation, field turnover, and personalized herd selection. With a limited number of spaces, we maintain a comfortable ratio of two acres per horse, providing a spacious and natural environment for all.
a dedicated team
Each generation of the Blankenship family has raised, trained, and owned horses beginning in the 1600s. We are thrilled to continue this family tradition in Alaska. We live on-site, not more than two minutes from your horse. Each horse in our care receives the same love and attention as our own. For every member of our family caring for your animal is not just our business, it is our passion.
Nutritional experts
Your horse's diet will receive more attention from us than any other stable. Because we raise every strand of grass they eat. Our business and professional goal is to provide Alaska with the best quality hay, grown right here in the state. Speaking of which, your horse will forage the very same field their hay comes from. Just like nature intended, leading to a much happier, and healthier horse.
